Your Itinerary
06:00 AM – Departure from Arusha
Your safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Arusha. As the city fades behind, you'll travel through colourful Maasai villages, open grasslands, and farmland where local communities begin their day.
08:30 AM – Arrival & Morning Game Drive
Upon entering the park, the landscape immediately transforms into classic African wilderness. Towering baobab trees dominate the scenery, creating dramatic silhouettes against the sky.
Your guide will follow wildlife trails in search of:
- Elephant herds often numbering over 100 individuals
- Lions resting beneath acacia trees
- Leopards hidden in riverine forests
- Giraffes browsing treetops
- Zebras and wildebeests grazing across the plains
- Rare species such as fringe-eared oryx and gerenuk
You will learn how the Tarangire River sustains life in the park and why it becomes a crucial gathering point during the dry season.
12:30 PM – Picnic Lunch
Enjoy lunch at a designated picnic site with sweeping views of the wilderness while observing wildlife activity nearby.
01:30 PM – Afternoon Exploration
Continue exploring deeper sections of the park where predators often patrol and elephants gather near the riverbanks. The afternoon light offers excellent photography opportunities.
04:00 PM – Return Journey
Depart for Arusha while reflecting on a day filled with unforgettable wildlife encounters.
