MORNING GAME DRIVE FROM 0930-1230HRS
Explore the park’s iconic baobab trees and rolling savannah. Spot elephants (Tarangire has one of the highest concentrations in Tanzania), giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, and more. Look out for predators like lions and leopards near the Tarangire River.
LUNCH AT MATETE PICNIC LUNCH SITE 12:30 PM
Enjoy a hot packed lunch or Picnin lunch box in a shaded picnic area. Relax and take in the views of the river and wildlife nearby.
AFTERNOON GAME DRIVE 1:30 PM
Venture deeper into the park’s diverse habitats. Visit Silale Swamp, a hotspot for birdlife and grazing animals. Keep an eye out for rare species like the fringe-eared oryx and greater kudu. Capture last-minute photos of the stunning landscape and animals. Optional visit to a viewpoint overlooking the Tarangire River.
